German occupation, 06 April 1941; demonstrations in the streets; air-raids on the city of Hapuch; escape with her family towards the south to the area under Italian control; deportation of the Jews to the Durazzo camp in Albania; conditions and attitude of the local Italians; transfer to the Ferramonti Di Tarsa camp in southern Italy, October 1942; daily life; organized activities: school, choir, workshops; intervention by relatives and transfer to the Confino libero, free internment area, to the Bocche de Cattaro area; transfer to Bari, Yugoslavia, September 1943; joins the Yugoslavian partisans and Tito's headquarters; writes propaganda articles; Tito and his aides.
