Revocation of Jews' rights and confiscation of Jewish property in Slovakia, 1938; escape to relatives in Michalovce following the start of deportations of Slovakian youth to extermination, March 1942; unsuccessful attempts to cross the border into Hungary; life in the open in Michalovce until spring 1944; transfer to Levoca with the approach of the Soviet front; finds shelter with a Christian family in Odorica, with the resumption of the transports; German searches; presence of a German Army force in the house where she was hiding during their retreat; liberation by the Red Army, January 1945. Aliya to Israel, 1949.
