At the time of the German occupation, he is married and the father of a baby boy; concentration of the Jews in the synagogue, 03 May 1944; deportation on wagons to the railroad station and from there to Bistrita Nasaud; stay for about six weeks in an Italian garden revamped to be a ghetto; deportation to Auschwitz; transfer on trains to Mauthausen; transfer to Gosen two days later; forced labor in a quarry; transfer towards the end of the war to empty barracks in Gunskirchen; disease; liberation, 05 May 1945.
Medical treatment in the American hospital in Wels; travel back towards Rodna.
