Testimony of Shalom Reichman, born in Worms, Germany, 1935, regarding his experiences in Malines and Auschwitz-Birkenau Arrest of his parents in Brussels after being informed on, spring 1944; in hiding of his brother; deportation to Malines; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau, April 1944; deportation of his father to Dachau, October 1944; death of his father; camp life including hospitalization in the "Revier", the camp hospital due to an illness; transfer with his mother to another block, late1944; liberation by the Red Army, 17 January 1945. Joins a former POW group in Katowice; move to Odessa; sails to Marseilles; return to Brussels, early May, 1945; reunuion with his brother and preparation for aliya; aliya to Eretz Israel with Aliya Bet via France, 1946; absorption with help from relatives.
