Outbreak of the war; move to Kobucko; daily life; smuggle of merchandise between the towns; establishment of an open ghetto; deportation to Blechhammer camp; camp life and labor; transfer to additional camps including Buntzlav and Gleiwitz camps; camp life and labor in Gleiwitz camp; transfer to Oranienburg and then to Flossenbuerg camp; camp life and labor in Flossenbuerg camp; liberation by the US Army, April 1945.
