Outbreak of the war; persecutions and forced labor; deportation to Sosnowiec, March 1941; transfer to Sackenhoym labor camp; transfer to Tannroda camp, one month later; forced labor paving roads; transfer to Brande camp, and labor paving and laying railroad tracks; transfer to Gross-Pogul camp, 1942; labor in a brick factory; deportation to Kittlitztreben camp, March 1944; labor building bunkers; death march to Buchenwald, February-April 1945; transfer to Theresienstadt, May 1945; liberation by the Red Army. Hospitalization in Theresienstadt; aliya to Israel on the "Caserta" ship, 1949.
