Occupation of Wisniewice by the Germans at the end of 1941; forced labor in the Bogdanowka railroad station; return to Wisniewice along with other young women just before the first "Aktion"; the hanging of a number of Jews in the market place; her escape to a forest before the "Aktion"; hardships endured in the surrounding villages, and the meeting with escapees from the ghetto in the forest; joins the Chapaev regiment of Russian partisans under the command of a Russian major; participation in combat missions, among them to inflict damage on the railroads and other transportation lines; description of the partisan fighting in the Naliboki forests; acts of revenge against farmers who collaborated with the Germans; meets Red Army soldiers in the summer of 1944.
The return to Wisniewoce after the war; repatriation to Poland, 1946; wanderings with the goal of arriving in Eretz Israel, by way of Czechoslovakia and Austria; illegal immigration to Israel; detention by the British and deportation to Cyprus, aliya to Israel about a year after the establishment of the State.
