German occupation of Siauliai; entry into the Siauliai Ghetto; forced labor and "Aktions"; murder of his small son; deportation to Auschwitz, November 1943; transfer to Stutthof, July 1944; camp life; separation from his wife; transfer to Utting camp, August 1944; labor casting concrete; transfer to Dachau; death march in the direction of Austria, April 1945; the German guards flee near Waarkirchen, May 1945; meets American soldiers.
Move of released inmates to Bad Toelz; recuperation and convalescence in Munich and Landsberg DP camp; searches for his wife in Germany, Czechoslovakia and Poland until he receives knowledge concerning her death; aliya to Israel on the "Mala" ship, July 1948.
