His home and family; activities in the Belgian underground in Brussels using a false identity; deportation to the Breendonk Fortress after being exposed; detention for one week in the Malines camp; deportation to Auschwitz, November 1942; transfer to the Jawiszowice camp, November 1942; camp conditions and events from daily life until January, 1945; evacuation to Buchenwald; transfer to Flossenburg and then to Erfurth where he digs tunnels; death march; air-raids on the way; liberation by the US Army in the Bavaria area, April 1945.
Return to Belgium; reunion with his mother; move to South Africa; works as a musician in the Brussels Broadcasting Authority orchestra.
