German occupation, 1941; deportation to the Vilna Ghetto with his parents, autumn 1941; Vilna Ghetto life including work in carpentry and metal working and as an apprentice in a workshop; earns a livelihood from selling stamps, for approximately six months; "Aktions"; joins the FPO, the United Partisan Organization; capture of Yitzhak Wittenberg; liquidation of the Vilna Ghetto, 23 September 1943; escape to Kailis; meets his father in H.K.P. labor camp; first liberation by the White partisans; liberation by the Red Army, July 1944. Aliya to Israel via France on the "Galilah" ship, November 1948; life in Jerusalem.
