Testimony of Gideon Arie, born in Vilna, Poland, 1928, regarding his experiences in the Vilna Ghetto, the FPO, the United Partisan Organization, and in Kailis and H.K.P. Life before the war; attends a high school. German occupation, 1941; deportation to the Vilna Ghetto with his parents, autumn 1941; Vilna Ghetto life including work in carpentry and metal working and as an apprentice in a workshop; earns a livelihood from selling stamps, for approximately six months; "Aktions"; joins the FPO, the United Partisan Organization; capture of Yitzhak Wittenberg; liquidation of the Vilna Ghetto, 23 September 1943; escape to Kailis; meets his father in H.K.P. labor camp; first liberation by the White partisans; liberation by the Red Army, July 1944. Aliya to Israel via France on the "Galilah" ship, November 1948; life in Jerusalem.
