German occupation; pogroms; deportation to Lowicz with his family, early 1940; life in Lowicz for approximately one year; transfer to the Warsaw Ghetto; ghetto life for a few months; transfer to Rawa Mazowiecka; life in Rawa Mazowiecka; transfer to Pabianice; transfer to Lodz; life in the Lodz Ghetto; deportation to Auschwitz-Birkenau, August 1944; camp life including participation in a construction course; transfer to Oranienburg with a group of young people who had taken the course, December 1944; transfer to Sachsenhausen; transfer to Mauthausen; death march; liberation by the US Army, May 1945.
