Occupation of Lomza; anti-Jewish decrees; murder of 6,000 of the youth in the city; escape from the ghetto in order to make contact with partisans; capture; deportation to Auschwitz, January 1943; camp life including the Sonderkommando Uprising; execution of Rosa Robota and her comrades; Mala Zimetbaum's escape and capture; death march to Ravensbrueck; escape while being transferred to an unknown destination; receives shelter from a German farmer. Life in Dresden after the liberation; aliya to Israel, 1948; testifies in trials of war criminals.
