Testimony of Sara Borko, born in Rafalowka, Poland, 1925, regarding her experiences in the Rafalowka Ghetto, during wanderings among the villages in the vicinity and in forests and using a false identity in Dresden German occupation; establishment of the Rafalowka Ghetto; liquidation of the ghetto; escape from the ghetto with help from a Polish female neighbor; wanderings among the villages in the vicinity and the forests; help from villagers over the course of a year; attitude of the Ukrainians towards the Poles in the villages; escape to her female neighbor; joins the Poles for work in Germany; obtains forged Aryan papers in Dresden, August 1943; work in a slaughterhouse kitchen and in the municipal hospital; liberation by the Red Army, 1945. Hospitalization; transfer to a hospital in Sommerfeld; life in the home of the Polish mayor; return to Poland; move to Lodz; move to Leipheim; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1946.
