Life of the Jews in Grodno before the war; the Soviet occupation, September 1939; the German occupation, June 1941; steps taken against the Jews; forced labor; forced contributions; entry into ghetto no. 2, 1 November 1941; forced labor in Kielbasin; obtaining food by bartering; deportation to Auschwitz by regular trains, November 1942; 165 Jews separated from the total of 1650 Jews in the transport; tattooing of the number; forced labor for Herman Goering Werk; work on road construction; cold burns; the Auschwitz hospital; escape from a group designated to be killed; work bringing gravel from a river; work in a laundry; improved food and living conditions; mutual help from people in Grodno; on a death march by foot and train to Neustadt; jumping from the train near Amstetten; wandering in Vienna, Brno, Zydlochowice, Olomouse, Stettin and Bielsko; arrest by the Russians on charges of spying; release and transfer to a camp; escape to Przemysl.
Active in the Bericha movement until 1949; aliya to Israel; life in Israel; testified in the trials of Heinz Errelis and Kurt Wiese.
