German occupation; German control of the factory through a German trustee; Aryanization of the factory and the family property; deportation to the Zawiercie Ghetto; ghetto life; deportation of the head of the Judenrat to Auschwitz for anti-German activities; labor in a German Air Force warehouse; rescue of Jews and help to Jews by the German warehouse manager Willi Garbrecht; liquidation of the ghetto, summer 1943; transfer to a quarry in Goleszow; deportation to Auschwitz; camp life including murder of the sick; help in food from the Zchvigal sisters from Zawiercie; death march to Bergen-Belsen; transfer to Hamburg; labor clearing rubble; transfer to Oranienburg; liberation, April 1945. Life in Bergen-Belsen DP camp; aliya to Eretz Israel, 1947.
