Annexation to Germany, 1938; escape of her family to Brno; her husband looks after 16 needy residents; transfer of displays and valuables from the museum to Brno; German occupation; attitude towards her husband; transfer to Theresienstadt with the family, late November 1941; camp life including setting up a Chevra Kadisha (burial society) and maintaining death records by her husband; execution of youth for writing letters home, January 1942; assassination of Reinhard Heydrich; capture of youth in order to put them to work burying those murdered in Lidice; arranging a celebration for the children before their deportation to Auschwitz; transports from Theresienstadt to Auschwitz, autumn 1944; removal of Danish inmates from Theresienstadt by Count Bernadotte approximately one month before the liberation.
