Testimony of Fima Ruchama (Gelfand) Oliker, born in Berezow, Poland, 1923, regarding her experiences in Berezow, a forest, with the partisans and in the Carpathian Mountains Murder of 30 Jews from Wojtkiewicze by Belorussian police before the German occupation; round-up of 303 Jews from villages in the Berezow vicinity, Pesach, April 1942; extermination of Jews before Rosh Hashana, September 1942; murder of relatives by Belorussian police; escape with her sister to a forest; meets partisans of General Kovpak; joins the unit on his orders; murder of her sister and aunt by two partisans; executions of the partisans by order of the general; combat as the unit makes its way to the Carpathian Mountains; wounded; liberation by the Red Army, spring 1944. Move to Rokitno; work in the education department; repatriation to Poland, 1945; aliya to Eretz Israel via Czechoslovakia and Austria, 1946.
