Testimony of Chedva (Miller) Szanto, born in Vyskovo Nad Tisou, Czechoslovakia, 1923, regarding her experiences in the Budapest underground, Mohacs, Pecs, in hiding and detention Re-annexation to Hungary, 1938; joins Dror-Habonim; help to refugees from Slovakia and Poland and underground activities in Budapest; German occupation; mission to Mohacs camp and Pecs camp with forged documents and money for the purpose of releasing 10 Jews, including her husband; turning in of underground members by Patio, the collaborator; detention of the underground members, including Zvi Goldfarb, Neshka Goldfarb and Asher Orani; life in hiding in a bunker; discovery of the bunker; detention in the Margit Korut prison with those hiding in the bunker; prison life including contact with other underground cells; release by underground members. Bericha activities with her husband Smuel after the liberation.
