German occupation, June 1941; riots; rescuing Jewish families; obtains forged documents; hiding Jews; obtains weapons from Austrian soldiers and passing them to a group of Jewish youths; liberation.
Life after the war including manhunts by antisemites; recognized as a Righteous Among the Nations.
