Testimony of Szypra (Poltorak) Nachmani, born in Radziwillow, Poland, 1920, regarding her experiences in the Radziwillow Ghetto, Karpilowka, wanderings, in hiding, using a false identity and in Krzemieniec Theft of Jewish property by Ukrainians and Poles, before the German occupation of Radziwillow; Radziwillow Ghetto life including division of the ghetto into groups of skilled professionals and non-skilled professionals, August 1941; escape during the first "Aktion", after Shavuot (May), 1942; return to the ghetto; liquidation of the ghetto after Sukkot (October) 1942; escape to the home of their Evangelist Christian housemaid named Darka in Karpilowka village; move to an Evangelist farmer named Olejnik; life in hiding while hidden in the farmer's home for a short time; murder of a woman friend named Chaya Zatz, by Ukrainian policemen after she was informed on by farmers; wanderings in the vicinity; life in hiding while hidden by Evangelist farmers; move to a convent in Krzemieniec while dressed as nuns, with help from the farmers; life in the convent for approximately six months; move to various places; receives help from farmers; return to the convent; life in the convent almost until the liberation by the Red Army, December 1944. Return to Radziwillow after the liberation; work in the post office; aliya to Eretz Israel on the "Spezia" ship, May 1946.
