Outbreak of war, 1941; life under Hungarian rule; gathering of Jews for mass murder, January 1942; her father's deportation to a labor camp; witness is arrested after being informed on for selling food ration coupons; interrogation; release; German occupaton into Backa Topola; deportation, 25 April 1944; separation from family; enters Auschwitz; performs forced labor in Union on night shift; performs forced labor in a grenade factory; events and people from Auschwitz daily life; transfer to Ravensbrueck, 18 January 1945; transfer to Neustad-Gleve as part of group of children from Netherlands and Belgium; liberation by Red Army. Evades rape; returns to Novi Sad; aliya to Israel, 1951.
