Testimony of Moshe Zisserman, born in Minsk-Mazowiecki, Poland in 1907, regarding the fate of the Jews of Minsk-Mazowiecki during the Nazi occupation In late 1939 and early 1940 Jews arrived to Minsk-Mazowiecki from Pabianice, Kalisz and Lodz. The Nazis deported Jews from these places to Kaluszyn, and from there they arrived to Minsk-Mazowiecki. Some of the city's Jews emigrated to the Soviet Union. The Nazis appointed a Judenrat.
