Testimony of Hanna Callman regarding her experiences in Berlin, the Theresienstadt ghetto and the Winzer and Deggendorf DP-camps, 1938-1946
Hanna Callman was married to Dr. Curt Callman, a lawyer and notary, downgraded as "legal counsel" by the Nazis. The couple lived in Berlin. The testimony reports on their experiences since 1938:
- Arrest of Dr. Callman in November 1938; deportation to Sachsenhausen; release after two weeks thanks to the efforts of his brother, holder of the Iron Cross and a medal of merit (p. 4)
