Testimony of Rosa Salomon regarding her experiences as an elderly woman in Berlin and Theresienstadt, 1943-1945
The author and her son were arrested by the Gestapo in Berlin on 7 May 1943 and taken to the collection camp at Grosse Hamburgerstrasse. When her son went back to their home in order to fetch some indispensable things they had left behind, he found all seals broken and the apartment completely emptied by a soldier who had already settled down in the house.
