In the Maccabi Poland team, representatives of various sports clubs (such as Maccabi, Hakoach, Hashmonaim) appeared, including Kornblüth from the Lublin team of Hakoah. The interview was published in an unidentified Polish newspaper in the summer of 1936

Izaak (Jack) Korenblit, grandfather of the submitter of the material, was born in Lublin in 1916. He played football for the Lublin Hakoach team. He studied in France and in 1936, when he was on a vacation from school, he arrived in Poland and was invited to join the Polish team in preparation for its participation in an international football and handball competition (Internationalen Fußball und Handball-Blitzturnier) organized by the Jewish Sports Club (JSK) in Berlin, to be held a week after the Berlin Olympics.
