- Diploma of Dr. Vasile Vamos, born in Satu Mare, Romania, 1914. The diploma was issued by the University of Bologna, 1939, and validated in Satu Mare, 1946; - Excerpts from the book "Zekhor et Saṭmar" (Yizkor book of the Satu Mare community), edited by Rabbi Naftali Stern, published in 1983. The excerpts relate to the history of Satu Mare Jews between the two world wars, the fate of the Jewish community during the Holocaust, and the Vamos family (Dr. Lazi Vamos survived and made aliya to Eretz Israel; his father Aharon Vamos passed away in Satu Mare in 1941; his mother Hermine and brother perished). Date corrections appear in the notes about the Vamos family; Notes from the submitter of the material: The parents of the submitter - László Vamos and his wife Yehudit (Berger) - were both Holocaust survivors. László studied medicine in Italy, worked at a hospital in Satu Mare, and was deported to labor battalions, where he worked as a doctor in one of the camps. In 1960, he made aliya to Israel, worked as a doctor in Haifa, and passed away in 1977.
