The source of the acquisition is the Central State Archives of Supreme Bodies of Power and Government of Ukraine (T︠S︡entralʹnyĭ derz︠h︡avnyĭ arkhiv vyshchykh orhaniv vlady ta upravlinni︠a︡ Ukraïny,TsDAVO). The documentation includes the following: Correspondence of the Ministerial Accelerator of Ukraine regarding the evacuation of the population from Ukraine to the interior of the Soviet Union during World War II, from 1941-1945; documentation of the evacuation of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, radio committees, educational and cultural institutions, children's institutions, sanatoriums, through evacuation centers in different regions of Ukraine: Kyiv, Kharkov, Vinnitsa; lists of evacuated factory workers and their families; correspondence between the communist, Komsomol party organizations regarding the evacuation of the population from the Voroshilov, Stalin and Kharkov regions, regarding the transportation of documents to the city of Chelyabinsk, the transportation of industrial enterprises deep into the Soviet Union, saving museum funds in Tyumen, the transfer of universities from Kharkiv and Kyiv in Ukraine to Kazakhstan in Kzyl Orda, and food stamp distribution documents for evacuees; - lists of employees from communist, Komsomol party organizations; - documents on the collection of clothes for the soldiers of the Soviet Army; - restoration of the republic's economy after the liberation 1945; - documentation of repatriation from Ukraine to Poland in 1944-1946, from the Volodymyr-Volynski, Lutsk, Samborsky, Drohobychsky, Khodorkovsky, Zolochevsky, Ravo Russky, Dubnovsky, Stanislavsky, Rivne, Ternopil, Chernivtsi, Lvov, and Buchach areas.
