Documentation from the Klaipeda Regional State Archive, 1955-1940 The collection of documents from the first half of the 20th century (1902-1939) includes material related to the Klaipėda port, Neringa, Dutch caps [hats], etc.; From the Soviet period, the collection of documents consists of archival funds for the years: 1940-1941 - Documents of the agricultural commissions of Kretinga County and Šilute County; 1944-1990 - Documents of institutions, companies and organizations that were active in cities in the Klaipėda, Palanga, Neringa, Kretinga, Skuoda and Šilute districts during that period, in permanent storage; 1944-1967 - Personnel documents of various institutions (personal files of employees, personnel orders, salary payment forms, etc.), also preserved; Received by the Yad Vashem Archives: records from the Taurage and Kretinga municipalities and the Klaipeda Agricultural Committees, regarding land expropriation during 1940-1941; During 1945-1955 - Documents from the departments of education, health and culture; lists of surviving Jews in the Klaipeda, Skuoadas, Kretinga and Palanga districts, 1945-1955.
