Documentation from the Stadtarchiv Itzehoe, Germany, 1934-1945 Documents were scanned from two files: - a file regarding the exclusion of the Jews from economic life, including decrees on the matter and correspondence concerning the request of the Association of Shoe Merchants in the city not to give purchase coupons for Jewish businesses to those in need of welfare - a request that was answered in the positive by the authorities; - a file regarding the sale of Jewish owned land after the Kristallnacht riots in late 1938. In the file are details regarding the sale of two plots of Jewish owned land in the city, and decrees intended to prevent profiteering in Jewish owned land. The documentation was scanned for Yad Vashem in 2019.
