Documentation from the Stadtarchiv Heide, Germany, 1905-1938 The material was scanned for Yad Vashem in 2019 from the files of the Kommunale Verwaltung (local administration), from the Abteilung II Record Group, including material from 1868-1945. The documents were scanned from two files: - a file regarding emigrants from the region and foreigners who reside in the region. A list was scanned of foreigners residing in the region, prepared in 1938, including persons without [German] citizenship, many of them born in Poland. Many of them apparently were Jews; - a file regarding political organizations, from which photographs and newspaper clippings were scanned regarding the propaganda activities of the Nazi Party. Included are speeches by Dr. Ley and Baldur von Schirach, in Heide.
