Reuven Wiesler was born in Zagreb in 1931. His parents: Rudolf Wiesler and Lina Wiesler née Bash. Rudolf’s parents: Hermann and Rosa Wiesler of Tusla. Hermann Wiesler owned the most famous slilovitz plant in Yugoslavia. Rosa died before the war; Hermann was concealed by his servant during the Holocaust and died in hiding.
