Childhood in an orthodox religious family; move to Debrecen in 1934; studies in a Jewish school; the German occupation in 1944; expulsion from the family home; deportation to Strasshof and Gemund camps; transfer to forced labor; transfer to a factory for the production of gloves; expulsion of her father from the factory; transfer of her father to Bergen Belsen camp; approach of the front; transfer to Theresienstadt; liberation by the Red Army; return to Debrecen in 1945; illegal border crossing to Slovakia; aliya to Israel in 1949.
