Work in Ózd as a teacher as of 1941; life in Ózd with 1,200 Jews; German occupation, 1944; payment of a bribe to the authorities by well-to-do Jews in exchange of receiving a privileged treatment before the establishment of the ghetto; transfer to forced labor in service in a labor battalion; transfer to the Carpathian Ruthenia area; receipt of inhuman treatment by the Hungarian soldiers; typhus disease; cannons and wagons are dragged by forced laborers instead of horses; hospitalization in a hospital in Tiszaújlak; theft of his belongings by Arrow Cross Party men and transfer to gendarmes; transfer to Szombathely; transfer to Kőszeg; labor in Kőszeg, clearing a forest; residence in a barracks; receipt of terrible food and cruel treatment; life along with 2,000 laborers in overcrowded conditions; they wash themselves in the forest; suffering from lice; many forced laborers are sick with typhus disease; death of laborers; lack of medical care; transfer to Schachendorf in December 1944; life in Schachendorf camp, located 16 kilometers from Kőszeg; receipt of a more humane treatment; decent treatment by the German Lagerführer; labor digging fortifications; they are handed over to the Wehrmacht in late March 1945; approach of the Red Army; evacuation of the camp in late March 1945; transfer of the healthy inmates to an unknown place, while the sick inmates remain in the camp; liberation by the Red Army;
