Testimony of Orit Carla (Schterenberg) Neria, born in 1935 in Rotterdam, Netherlands, about her experiences in Rotterdam, Amsterdam, the Westerbork camp, and Bergen-Belsen Family life; father originally from Dortmund; family escapes from Germany to various countries; childhood in Rotterdam; area bombarded in 1940; family escapes to Amsterdam; anti-Jewish legislation; father is a member of the Joodse Raad (Jewish council); mother and children deported to Westerbork in 1942; back to the family home due to father's position; entire family deported in 1943; sent to Bergen-Belsen in January 1944; father dies in the camp; transferred in March 1944; liberated by Red Army and American forces; mother hospitalized; witness placed in a provisional children's home in a convent; back to the Netherlands; witness joins the Habonim movement; immigrates to Israel in 1958.
