Testimony of Klarka (Knoll) Gal, born in 1935 in Burakowka, Poland, about her experiences in Ukraine, the Tluste ghetto, and with a Polish family Childhood with younger sister in an affluent family in Burakowka; German occupation ensues on June 22, 1941; family escapes toward eastern Ukraine; wanders; reaches Tluste; Tluste ghetto established; Aktion in the ghetto in September 1941; 3,000 Jews murdered in killing trenches; witness survives the Aktion along with parents and sister; survives the second Aktion; witness and sister spend two years living with a Polish family; witness receives Christian education; works with pigs; does field labor until 1944; reunited with parents; plans to immigrate to Israel with Dror Hehaluts settlement group in 1949; immigrates to Israel in 1952.
