Escape of the Jews originating from Turkey to Turkey; deportation of her father to Drancy; her mother gets Turkish papers from the Turkish embassy; liberation of her father who is sick; a priest helps save him; she spends her childhood hiding in a convent; help of the church and the French underground; adaptation difficulties; escape with her elder sister to a rural family in the region of Normandy ( the members of that family were recognized as "Righteous among the Nations"); her parents find a hiding place in a building in Paris; they are helped by the building female guard; correspondence between the mother and her daughters. Zionism after the war; aliya to Israel 1960.
