Childhood in Sofia; anti-Jewish legislation; marking by means of a pin with a Star of David; curfew during some hours of the day; studies terminated; deportation to Vidin in 1943; housed in a school building; movement restrictions; hunger; moving to Svilengrad; liberation by Red Army forces in September 1944; back to Sofia; immigration to Israel in 1948; adjustment to life in Israel.
