German occupation, 1939; Aryanization of the family business; deportation order; living in Sulkowice and other villages; rumors of "Aktions"; round up of the Jews from the area and their murder in Wieliczka; being smuggled into the Debica Ghetto; obtaining Aryan papers; interrogation by the Gestapo; liquidation of the Debica Ghetto; hiding in a temporary hiding place; murder of her sister in the hiding place; wanderings and finding hiding places in the villages; assuming a Christian identity; liberation;
Reunion with family members; unsuccessful attempt at illegal aliya on the illegal immigrant ship, "Exodus", absorption at Kibbutz Hamaapil.
