Childhood; attendance at a Czechoslovak elementary school; the synagogue that served the Jews of his village and those of the surrounding area was located in the witness's courtyard; displays of antisemitism before the war;
Slovakian fascist regime; decrees; yellow star; arrest and deaths of his parents and sick grandmother; arrival in the village of a Jewish couple named Brichta who arranged for him to be hidden by a farming couple in a village called Velke Levare; life hiding in the cellar until the end of the war;
Return to Zitavske Knazice and joining the Gordonia Movement in Bratislava; being sent as a movement youth leader to Brno, Trivana, Zelina and other cities; aliya to Israel, December 1949; absorption and rehabilitation.
