Testimony of Chaim Claude Tenenbaum, born in 1934 in Strasbourg, France, about his experiences as a boy in Strasbourt, Chevillon, St.-Jouvent, etc. Life in Strasbourg; escapes to Nancy; escapes to Chevillon; escapes to St.-Jouvent with help from the rabbi of Limoges, Abraham Deutsch; lives in the home of an aristocratic family; attends school; mother visits every day in Limoges; family members survive by virtue of members of the French Resistance and a French policeman; father completes a prayer quorum at the synagogue of Limoges; Oradour is burnt down and witness finds a hideout with a French widow for three months; lives there until 1946; back to Strasbourg; revitalization of the Jewish community; witness's attitude toward religious faith after the Holocaust; active in the Esra movement; immigrates to Eretz Israel.
