The Westermann Collection includes official documentation of the municipal administration of the Rigas Prefekturas (Riga Prefecture) Police; official documentation of Einsatzgruppe A active in Latvia in 1941; orders and instructions by the Sicherheitspolizei to the SD and SS in Latvia; instructions of the Generalkommissar and Giebitskommissar of Riga; Latvian antisemitic newspapers, from 1939-1940 and from the German occupation period; lists of Jews who were deported from Hamburg, Dessau and Hannover to the Riga Ghetto, 1941-1942; statistical reports regarding Jews from France who were deported to Drancy camp;

- German registration form published in Riga, regarding Jewish property designated for confiscation;
- Kriegstagebuch (War Diary) regarding the ban on the Latvian Security Policemen against opposition to participation in the murder of the Rezekne Jews, 08/1941;
- Documentation of officer Richard Frank, who received a medal of excellence for implementation of an "Aktion" against Jews in 1941;
- Correspondence between H. Goering and R. Heydrich, regarding the Final Solution;

- Order given by the Gebietskomissar of Riga to specific Police stations in various places in Latvia;
- Comments by the Einsatzgruppe A headquarters in Riga to Einsatzkommando 1A, 1B, 2 and 3, regarding the temporary directives given by the Reichskommissar of Ostland concerning the Jews residing in the Reichskommissariat Ostland areas;
- Order given by Himmler, regarding giving a rest period to SS men who participated in the murder of the Jews of Latvia, 12/1941;
- Antisemitic excerpts from the "Tevija" newspaper, 1939-1941.
