Documentation of German Occupation Authorities from the Osoby Archive in Moscow, 1939-1944
There are two files in the collection:
- A file containing correspondence of the Kreiskommissar Garten (administration of the Garten district) (from 1943 Kreiskommissar Grodno [the administration of the Grodno district]) in the Bialystok region regarding administrative and financial matters, including factories that were moved over to German trusteeships and investigations on black market matters, October 1941-June 1944;
- A file of the Staatskommissar beim Reichsstatthalter in Wien (State Commissioner at Reichsstatthalter in Vienna) dealing with the matter of Hofrat (Councilor) Viktor Fischmeister from Vienna who was dismissed from his position in the Office of Commerce and Industry due to a suspicion that he was a Jew (and due to a suspicion of his political expertise) and fought against this decision, 1939.
