Testimony of Neora Nora Goralnik née Teplitzki, born in 1938 in Burgas, Bulgaria, about her wartime experiences in Burgas Childhood before the war; affluent religious family that owns a restaurant; war breaks out; sirens; father sent to a labor camp for two years; restaurant "Aryanized"; Bulgarian friends support the witness and her mother; moving from an apartment in a mixed neighborhood to one in the Jewish quarter; movement restrictions; curfew; the yellow star edict; father's life in the camp including cold, hunger, housing in barracks with wooden bunks; cultural life and mutual aid; liberation by Red Army forces in 1944; father returns as a "Musselmann" (a shell of his former self); making plans to immigrate to Eretz Israel; witness attends a Jewish school; immigrates to Israel in 1949; adjusts to life in Israel.
