Comments by the submitter of the material (Ruti [Beller] Beit):
Ruti (Beller) Beit, the submitter of the material, is the daughter of Aaron Aron Juda Beller and of Asia (Aharonitz) Beller, who was born in Eretz Israel in 1921. Aron Juda Beller was born in Grodzisko, 10/07/1912. His family moved to Stanislau when he was 10 years old. Aron's parents were Yagid [Jagid] and Golda nee Beller; they perished in Belzec camp. Because his parents did not have state [civil] registration of their marriage in Poland (only religious registration), Aron received his mother's last name, which was Beller. Aron's sister Hela Beller, who was born in 1916, her husband, and their daughter also perished in Belzec camp. Aron made aliya to Eretz Israel in 1938. He was a medical student in Vienna and studied, in parallel, in the rabbinical seminary. He returned to his parents in Stanislau after the Anschluss and, because he did not have an identity card (it was taken from him in Vienna), he took care to obtain an aliya certificate to Eretz Israel, which he obtained as a student at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Aharon Aron and Asia married in Eretz Israel in 1945.
