Legal proceedings by the public prosecutor's office in Bonn, in the years 1961-1962, against SS-Oberfuehrer Dr. Herbert Georg Mehlhorn accused of aid to mass killings in the extermination camp Kulmhof (Chelmno) in 1941-1944 Mehlhorn was also mentioned engaging in the financial management of the Ghetto Litzmannstadt. Main witness is Heinrich Wilhelm May, who was connected with Mehlhorn for reforestation of the extermination camp area. Other witnesses are Harry Siegmund, Adolf Sommermeyer, Leopold von Loesch and Rudolf Arendt. On the basis of insufficient evidences the trial against Mehlhorn was discontinued in 1962. The file contains documents about trials against Laabs, Haefele, Burmeister, Mehring and Wilhelm Koppe for their patricipation in mass killings in the Extermination Camp Kulmhof Warthegau in 1941-1944 including the testimony of Willy Weber.
