Transport No. 47f left Vienna’s Nordbahnhof (Northern Rail Station) on April 26, 1944, and arrived in Auschwitz-Birkenau on April 27. It consisted of 19 Jews. The average age of the deportees was 40. Two of were over 61.
Historian Danuta Czech notes in the Auschwitz chronicle that this was a group transport, consisting of Jews from various cities in Germany. Following a selection process carried out by the SS men, five Jews were sent to the camp. They were given the Nos.184312- 184316.
The remaining deportees were immediately murdered in the gas chambers.
