Four of the transports were unusual. Originally destined for Trawniki in the Lublin district, they were rerouted to Ghetto Warsaw. Two of these transports originated from Berlin, another arrived from Theresienstadt, and another transported Jews from Gelsenkirchen, Münster and Hanover. The reasons for the transfer to Ghetto Warsaw are not documented. The destination was apparently changed on short notice.
The transport that left Hanover for Warsaw during the night of March 31 to April 1, 1942 included 500 Jews from the area under the jurisdiction of the Hanover Gestapo. It had originally been planned for January but was postponed because of operational difficulties.
