On April 22, 1943 the 13th transport left Thessaloniki. According to the list sent to the Jewish Community of Thessaloniki on January 29, 1945 by the Greek Railway company, this transport included 2,800 Jews. The transport arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau on April 28. Upon arrival at the camp, 180 men were admitted and tattooed with the numbers 118888-119067. An additional 361 women were also admitted into the camp and tattooed with the numbers 43123-43483. The remaining Jews were murdered in the gas chambers immediately upon arrival.
