The second of the five transports departed from Dortmund in the month of February 1944, and comprised of only two Jewish women: Lina Lessing from Bochum and Mathilde Muehlhaus from Hattingen. The transport arrived in Theresienstadt on February 23. Even though the exact date of departure is unknown, it may be assumed that these two deportees were put under guard on a regular passenger train that departed from Dortmund on February 21 or 22 and had a stop near Theresienstadt.
Upon arrival in the ghetto, the transport was designated X/4 Ez1; the Roman numeral X referred the city of Dortmund.
In September 1944, Lina Lessing perished in Theresienstadt, while Matilda Muehlhaus was liberated in 1945.
