On April 10, 1943 the second transport departed from Dortmund for Theresienstadt. It was assembled in Luxembourg and included 97 Jews, the majority of whom were elderly and sick who had emigrated from the district of Arnsberg, from Bochum, Bonn, Dillingen, Landau, Mannheim, Muelheim, Offenburg and Saarbruecken. The transport left Luxembourg and passed through Duesseldorf on its way to Dortmund. There, the railcars were connected to the deportation train and arrived at the Bohusovice train station that same day. From the station the deportees were forced to walk approximately 3 kilometers to the ghetto. Those who were unable to walk were transported by trucks.
The transport received the designation X/2, the Roman numeral X referring to the city of Dortmund
